Definition

Score is an attempt to compare projects by multiple parameters. It considers a content size, community greatness and a popularity among readers.

Currently score is defined as:

Score=Scontent+Scommunity+Sviews,

where

Scontent=ln(ArticlesprojArticlesmax*0.5+EditsprojEditsmax*0.5),
Scommunity=ln(ActiveUsersprojActiveUsersmax*0.5+UsersprojUsersmax*0.5),
Sviews=ln(ViewsprojViewsmax),
Articlesproj is a number of articles of the project, Editsproj is a total edit number of the project, ActiveUsersproj is a number of active users of the project, Usersproj is a total user number of the project, Viewsproj is a total views of the project during the last year. Parametermax describes the same parameter of a leading project (usually, English Wikipedia). So, the score calculates a difference between the project and the leading project.

For example, the score of German Wikipedia is calculated as:

Scontent=ln(2,383,520/5,992,409/2+194,235,086/929,982,959/2)=1.19,
Scommunity=ln(18,496/123,869/2+3,358,836/38,010,926/2)=2.13,
Sviews=ln(11,322,307,278/92,170,108,489)=2.10, so
Score=1.19+2.13+2.10=5.42.
