Simple rename requests

@ɪ: As far as I know, usernames cannot start with lowercase letters. However, you can make your signature and userpage display as lowercase by changing your signature in Special:Preferences and adding {{DISPLAYTITLE:User:ɪ}} to your userpage. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 03:25, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

ɪ, PHP, on which Wikipedia is based, has been upgraded to the latest version. One of the changes is that it is now aware of the upper/lowercase Cyrillic letters. Usernames (and article names) ALL start with an uppercase letter. Now that the underlying software is Cyrillic-case-aware usernames (& userpages) sarting with a lowercase Cyrillic letter become inaccessible. Reverting to the lowercase letter is not possible.

@FaZe MajdaŠvagan: As original name COI warning issuer, I'd advise something else as 420 or 69. These naumbers may not be well accepted in different wiki user groups (not slwiki specifically). Edit: it is quite important to me to get the first `T` in a small letter `t`. If `_tado-mi` will turn to `_Tado-mi`, as 't' is still interpreted as the first character, may I ask to change my username either to `-tado-mi` or, if that would also turn to `-Tado-mi`, to a katakana version - `タド`? thanks a lot, and I apologize for any inconvenience! --Tado (talk) 17:41, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Template:Ping AFAIK, a username cannot begin with spaces nor underscores. For example, User: Tado and User:_Tado are automatically redirected to User:Tado. Thus, I highly recommend you to choose "-tado-mi", just like what Template:Noping did. Unnamed User^{Name me} 11:03, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

Template:Ping It's not listed anywhere specifically but it's a common practice among renamers to reduce misuse of rename function.
